Who We Are at TFR Guns
Our Purpose
As the owner of TASK FORCE RED, I built this shop around a standard that’s gotten rare: do it right, do it safely, and do it ethically. Based in Tucson, we support everyone from brand-new gun owners to seasoned enthusiasts with firearm sales, gunsmith services, and training designed to make you competent—not just “comfortable.”
My background drives how we operate: 33 years in the military, including 8 overseas deployments and service as a Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment (2d Ranger Battalion), plus 19+ years in law enforcement—including 4 years with the Dodge City Police Department (Kansas) and 2 years with the Arizona Department of Corrections. I pair that experience with formal education: a Master’s in Leadership, a Bachelor’s in Homeland Security, and an Associate’s in Firearms Technology.
Bottom line: accountable workmanship and practical instruction that helps you leave safer, more confident, and better prepared than when you walked in.
